Halo-halo is a popular iced Filipino desert made out of the mixture of sugar, milk and different toppings such as saba (a variety of banana), gulaman (jellies), sago (tapioca), beans, pinipig (roasted and pounded young green rice grain), leche flan and ube halaya. It is topped with vanilla ice cream for a more delightful taste.
